How is National Health Care Better than the Health Care we now have? You think it is going to be FREE?

Well let's see, figure it out:
At age 58, a good health care plan with a maximum of $1000 out of pocket expense for a year would cost approximately $340 per month x 12 months = $4080 per year. If this person had open heart surgery, a knee replacement, 8 office visits, and all the tests and prescriptions to go along with the surgeries the max it would cost them in that year would be $5080.00. Seems like a lot, I guess, but the insurance company would be paying well over $100,000.00 for all of this care and the care would be given without consulting with a government employee to decide if the person could even have the surgeries or the care! The wages of the doctor, the hospital staff, x-ray technicians, etc., are all paid by the hospital or doctors office.
Now for government health care: First and foremost, each and every thing would have to be cleared through some government employee (whose wages of about $40-$50K per year, you are paying for) and the office building they are working in is also built out of your money, and don't forget the equipment and office furnishings are also coming out of your pocket. Try if you want to figure out that cost to you. But for sure the Stimulus Bill that was passed in 2009 has $634,000,000,000.00 (BILLION $$) set aside just to start setting up the national health care divided by 300,000,000 people, that's $2113.33 (I believe, if my calculator figured correctly) per each person, including each child and each baby, $2113.33 this year for starting to set up the national health care. Then, in steps the Value Added Tax (National Sales Tax of 25% on all your purchases, including groceries). Add it up: you spend $300 per month (modest amount at todays prices) for groceries X 12 months = $3600. Your old clunker gives out so you buy another at $5,000. You buy a new TV for $700. Miscellaneous expenses for the month are $150 (modest amount in todays society) X 12 months = $1800. The electric bill $120 per month X 12 months = $1440. The phone bill $40 per month X 12 months = $480. Water, Garbage & Sewer $30 per month X 12 months = $360. Your go out to eat 3 times a month X $12 per meal ( rather low if you go to nice restaurant = $36 X 12 months = $432 You go to the movie 2 times each month @ $7 a pop (I know it's much higher in many places) = $14 X 12 months = $168. You spend $900 for Christmas or other gifts throughout the year. Your rent or mortgage payment is $700 per month X 12 months = $8,400.
OK, let's just see what we have: $3,600 + $5,000 + $700 + $1800 + $1440 + $480 + $360 + $432 + $168 + $900 + $8,400 = $23,280.00 X 25% VAT = $5,820 Amount you will pay for National Health Care if you only spend the amount of money in a year stated in above scenario, more than the health insurance policy for a 58 year old. Buy a house $125,000 X 25% = $31,250.00 for National Health Care.
And be sure to add in the $2113.33 it is going to cost each member of your family this year alone. It is your share of debt for this. Meaning a family of four is paying $8453.32 just to start setting up National health Care. Doesn't sound FREE to me?! Don't Let it happen!
I want to point out here again, through National Health Care each and every little thing you need for health care will be decided by a government employee sitting in an office somewhere in some city somewhere! If you have a heart attack and need open heart surgery, they will decide if you are too old, too lazy (a non-producer), if you eat the right foods (and they do plan on computerizing everything about you and what you eat) to be deserving of such life saving surgery. Today in our Great Country you may wait 2-4 weeks to a specialist, in countries that have National Health Care that wait is 17 weeks or more. Emergency surgeries in National Health care countries are many times put off for 2-3 years in hopes that the patient dies before that money is wasted on them. Old people in National Health Care countries are not allowed medical care, so have your kids tell grandma & grandpa good bye if they get sick. Your son or Daughter born sickly will simply be allowed to die rather than wasting health care on someone who will only continue to need health care throughout their lives.
Wake UP! Nothing is Free, at least nothing Good is Free! If you really think you are going to get good health care think again. It is a LIE! And I mean it is an Out Right Lie! STOP being blind to facts~~~~~~ read about other countries that have National Health Care. Can't read? Then learn. Go check out a local Free Clinic in your area. These services are of course paid for by someone, other than those going there, so they are not truly free.
